Joshua joined us from the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research where he led the community engagement, governance, and strategy of Unidata, a provider of data services and tools to the geosciences community. His education includes a B.S in biology from Lees-McRae College, a Master’s in environmental science from the College of Charleston, and a Master’s in public administration from the University of Colorado Denver where he is also a current doctoral candidate in Public Affairs.
“The Phoenix mission and my own are aligned in many dimensions,” Joshua said. He continued: “Throughout my career, I have sought to accelerate research through improved access to infrastructure and results, better administration, and stronger communities. Joining the small and dedicated team at Phoenix Bioinformatics is a privilege and I look forward to getting to know them, and the scientific community which we serve, over the coming months.”
