The AgBioData Consortium and Phoenix Bioinformatics are pleased to announce that our Research Coordination Network (RCN)  grant entitled Reimagining a Sustainable Data Network to Accelerate Agricultural Research and Discovery has been funded. AgBioData  is a consortium of agricultural biological databases and associated resources working together to ensure standards and best practices for acquisition, display and retrieval of genomic, genetic and breeding data.  Phoenix is the lead institution for this grant.

The RCN grant aims to increase the accessibility and re-use of large scale agricultural biological data by expanding the network of database experts and biocurators to include research scientists, funders, and data publishers to establish and disseminate standards, best practices, and recommendations for agricultural data management. There is also a significant outreach and  training component

We are seeking a Scientific Program Coordinator to join the Phoenix team to  support the activities of the RCN. This is a 100% remote working position.
